For June 1st I started making a dress. It was a painful process, especially since after I'd cut out all the pieces I discovered my sewing machine got broken in the move to my house.

July the 1st I was at work late, so it was a bit of a struggle to come up with something. I decided on another craft based project and this time it was to make something from a craft tutorial on a blog (I know it's hard to believe but I haven't done this). I decided to make Violet LeBeaux's tea wallet. Her original tutorial is here.

I added a ribbon tie closure :)
Also, last weekend someone brought me these beautiful roses...
